You’d never guess Max likely spent most of his life outdoors before he was brought to a rural county shelter. The only reminder of his past is a scar on his neck likely from getting caught in a fence. Other than that he’s adjusted beautifully to his foster home. Though he can keep on long walks around the neighborhood, he’s very docile, quiet, & gentle indoors, preferring to sunbathe or sleep next to his humans. He peacefully coexists with his similar sized foster siblings (though he seems to prefer females). Max has also met and interacted with kids while out and about and isn't bothered by unexpected hugs or noise. He's even enjoyed a violin serenade by one of his temp fosters. He’s working on being okay crated when left alone and he’s already housebroken.
