My name is Caliber!

Hi there!

Bet you`re wondering how I got the name Caliber. Well, let me tell you—it`s a fun story! I was attending a police recertification class (okay, fine, I crashed it), causing all sorts of chaos. Before I knew it, the doggy police were called to round me up! I had a blast with the officers, but I’ve got to admit, life at the animal shelter has been pretty sweet, too.

I get meals twice a day (plus snacks—score!), and I’m totally up-to-date on my vaccines. I’m on heartworm prevention, and guess what? My test was negative—woof, woof! My next big step is getting neutered and getting my rabies vaccine.

I’m a big fan of running, playing, and especially tug-of-war. It’s my favorite game! I’ve made friends with lots of other pups here at the shelter, and even a few cats—though I keep my distance from them (they`re a bit intimidating, if I’m honest).

Oh, and the dog walkers? They’re the best! They take me out 2-3 times a week for relaxing walks where I can unwind from all the excitement at the shelter. Those one-on-one moments with my walker are my absolute favorite.
