My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Comet! Our sweet Siberian Husky who has been here since 11/13/24 awaiting his forever home.
Poor Comet recently had to have one of his legs amputated and now he is a happy tripod learning
how to navigate life again. Even with this happening to him, nothing will stop Comet from being the
happy and affectionate guy he is. Comet loves to lay and play with his toys. He has not met with any other dogs but seems curious when walking by them in the kennel.
Will you give Comet his furever home?

Comet`s foster had this to say:
`Comet enjoyed going on a weekend field trip. He is a beautiful, pleasant, and affectionate guy who is adapting quickly to having three legs. He met several people and was friendly towards all. He took some short 10-minute walks without difficulty. His pace is fast enough that you might need to jog beside him to keep up. When another dog barked at him, he was interested but didn’t bark back. He walks well on leash – he’ll go to the end of the leash but won’t pull. Comet loves to be petted; he won’t bother you if you’re doing something else, but he’s always watching and waiting for you to be ready.`
