Nina Winchester is a 40-pound female Terrier-Pit Bull mix who has blossomed after a rough start. Found as a stray, she has since thrived in her foster home showing puppy-like energy but also remaining gentle and loving with both humans and larger dogs. Her foster mom believes that, with slow introductions, Nina would do well with dogs of all sizes. While Nina is initially fearful of men, she warms up with gentle persistence. She is especially great with kids, making her an ideal family dog. Nina has been supervised around cats and, while she would love to be friends with them, she leaves them alone.

Her foster mom describes Nina as “as easy as she can be”—a laid-back, lovable girl who simply wants to be near her people.
