Hi – I’m Cameron! I am gorgeous and goofy, and I would love to find my home.
I was found running in Alabama as a tiny baby with my two siblings. We got lucky and were brought into a rescue, and we finally got to come to Minnesota to find forever homes. I’m now a goofy lunk of a big puppy. I love to play and get rubs and scritches, but I really love a good snuggly snooze the best. My brother and I have been called “lazy puppies”. Don’t get me wrong – I have a great time playing with my brother and all the dogs here, and I enjoy going for walks, but a couch by a fireplace is my happy place. I do need a family who is dedicated to keeping me trim and fit, as I apparently have this thing called hip dysplasia. It doesn’t bother me and doesn’t need to impact me having a long and happy life, but I wouldn’t be the right dog to be a training partner for a marathon. So, really, I’m kinda grateful about that, given my love of cuddles and snoozing.
I have loved everyone I’ve met – dogs, kids, cats… you name it. My foster family tells me I’m a big, easygoing sweetheart. My brother and I are usually curled up together… if you’ve ever wanted two easy dogs who love each other, I’d love to stay with him, even though we could be adopted into separate homes.
Anyhoo – if you are looking for a sweet, playful goof of a dog who loves everybody, let’s meet! I’d love to be your forever pal!
-------------------------------------------- All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.
Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

The mission of Warrior Dog Rescue is to save the dogs that are homeless, left abandoned in shelters, are surrendered by their owners, those that are being abused and neglected, and those that are left wandering. We are committed to providing them the medical care they need, helping them to overcome their past by providing them loving, educated foster homes, finding them their perfect forever home by means of a thorough adoption process, and guiding them on their journey into their new life. They all deserve a “good dog life… every single one of them.”
Warrior Dog Rescue will be a model rescue by partnering with overcrowded shelters that need to make room for more abandoned dogs. We will continue to educate others about responsible dog ownership in regards to safety, spay/neuter, nutrition, obedience, socializing, abuse, and neglect. We acknowledge that we will have a role in this industry to take the lead on providing awareness to others in the community and across the country. Every dog will know what it feels like to be loved till the end of their life.
