Meet Dante – a sweet 12-year-old senior with a heart full of love! Though he`s visually impaired, it doesn’t stop Dante from enjoying life to the fullest. He`s a calm, affectionate guy who loves relaxing on the couch, hanging out with his foster dog sibling, and spending time in the yard. Dante does great in his crate, both overnight and during the day for a few hours, without any accidents.
He`s housebroken but, as is common with seniors, may have the occasional accident if he’s not let outside for a while. With a bit of extra attention, Dante is sure to thrive in a home where he gets frequent potty breaks and lots of love.
Dante would do best in a quiet, loving home with someone who understands the needs of a senior dog and is ready to offer him gentle care and companionship. He’s great with other calm dogs and would love to spend his golden years relaxing and receiving all the affection he deserves.
If you`re looking for a loyal companion to share your life with, Dante might just be the perfect match for you. Come meet this sweet senior – he’s ready to find his forever home!

With an open admission policy, a No-Kill philosophy, and more than 3,100 animals crossing our threshold each year, we have still maintained a 98% placement rate over the last 3 years.
This is an amazing feat for any organization…let alone one that takes in some of the most abused, injured and seriously ill animals imaginable.
