Boomer is a resilient and loving 5-year-old who has been through a lot but has come out the other side sweeter than ever. When he first came into our care, Boomer was in rough shape-starving, battling a severe skin infection, and struggling to walk. With the love, food, and medical care he desperately needed, this amazing boy has made a remarkable recovery. His skin has healed, his fur is growing back, and his heart is as full of love as ever.
Boomer has spent the last couple of months in a foster home, where he's shown us just how sweet, friendly, and affectionate he is. He absolutely loves meeting new people and adores kids! While he can be a little selective with other dogs, a meet-and-greet can help ensure he's a good match for any potential doggie siblings.
Due to his past, Boomer will need supportive care for his hips, primarily through pain management, and a home with minimal stairs would be ideal. But don't let that fool you-Boomer is still full of life and love to give.
