Meet Maxwell, an eight-month-old, sleek, black, chatty noodle with a big personality! Playful, inquisitive, and talkative, Maxwell especially loves a good game of chase with his brother, Dax. Though he spent his early months as a shy stray, he's quickly becoming more outgoing in a safe, loving environment. That said, Maxwell may need a bit of time and patience to fully relax and feel comfortable in his new home.

Maxwell would thrive in a quiet household with adults or older children who understand that he might need space to adjust. He’s sure to shine in a home with other resident cats, and he’s deeply bonded with his brother, Dax, so they must be adopted together. More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated volunteers in Burlington, VT with a focus on rescuing and caring for stray and abandoned cats in our community. We provide safe, loving foster homes for cats of all ages until they are adopted. They receive socialization, a nutritious diet, any necessary vet care (including spay/neuter surgery) and lots of TLC while in our care. We do our best to find the right home for each cat considering their unique personalities and ongoing needs. We also offer resources, advice and support to cat caretakers in our area.
