Meet Tate – The Best Boy Nobody Notices (But we`re about to change that!)
Tate doesn’t understand. He did everything right. He wagged his tail, walked like a gentleman, smiled for the crowd, and soaked up every bit of love thrown his way in the Mardi Gras parade a little while ago. People clapped, cheered, reached out their hands to pet him—and he took it all in stride, proving he could handle the chaos of life with ease. But when the parade was over, and the adoption inquiries started rolling in, no one asked for him. Not one single person.
At four years old, Tate is everything a family could want. He’s heartworm negative, fixed, and full of love. He’ll curl up in your lap like he’s still a puppy, even though he’s a sturdy lab mix. He walks beautifully on a leash, and never turns down a game of keep-away. He’s not just a people dog—he’s a dogs’ dog, too, happy to make dog friends wherever he goes!
Yet, somehow, people keep passing him by.
But Tate isn’t giving up hope, and neither are we. His perfect family is out there—maybe they just haven’t met him yet. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, fun, and adaptable best friend, Tate is ready to be all of that and more. He’s been waiting but maybe he’s been waiting for you!
Come and meet him. You won’t regret it.
