Margot arrived at us from Cicero Waggin` Tails Shelter on 11/20, and she`s already shown what a sweet and loving companion she is. This gentle soul is looking for a safe, loving home where she can thrive!
In her foster home, Margot has been nothing short of a delight. She`s calm, affectionate, and easygoing, making her a perfect addition to any household. Margot walks beautifully on a loose leash, enjoys her crate time, and is perfectly content settling in for some downtime. While she’s generally neutral towards other dogs, she’s always friendly and social with people.
We were working on some commands with her. She’s good with sit and waiting at doorways until an “ok”. She is also good on furniture and will typically only join you if invited and will get off them when asked.
She loves peanut butter, yogurt, and pumpkin puree. She also loves rope toys and squeaky toys.

CCRF was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. In just over seven years, CCRF has saved the lives of over 2,000 dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.
CCRF now assists the animals that are the MOST vulnerable in Midwest - the dogs and cats that are slated for euthanasia because they are too old, too young, injured, have disabilities, or have simply been overlooked for too long by potential adopters at other shelters.
