My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tetu is a sweet, friendly girl who loves to snuggle up with her people. She is active and playful, but she will always break away to visit with you wherever you're sitting to roll around and get pets. She is highly affectionate and never tires of flipping over to entice you to give her your attention. Tetu likes to run and play chase games with her friends or soar through the air after her favorite wand toys. She enjoys a good tussle with her buddies, but when playtime is done, it's back to you for a shower of cuddles. If you are looking for a kitty who wants you to express your true feelings of adoration for her, Tetu is the perfect fit.

Tetu integrates well with all young kitties she meets. She has a wonderful demeanor and gets to know everyone, meeting them at the energy they bring. She enjoys playing with others, and initiates about half the time, taking invitations to play well from others too. She is a medium energy kitty but can play harder with those who want to, and can hang with those who don't-a very versatile personality! Tetu is fully box trained and on a very healthy raw/wet food diet. Due to her age and activity level, she will need to be adopted with a buddy or to a home with an active animal companion. Her best friends are Cesium (KRLA-A-7284), Struffoli (KRLA-A-7844) and Taralli (KRLA-A-7845).

You can meet Tetu and her friends most weekends at Tail Town and Off the Leash 12-4pm. See what she and her friends are up to on Instagram and email the foster parent to set up a meet and greet.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
