Assuna is finally available for adoption! This darling girl was surrendered to us while very pregnant. Shortly thereafter, Assuna gave birth to 9 adorable puppies and has been working hard to raise them the last several weeks. Her babies are ready to fly the nest, so now it is Assuna’s turn! Assuna is a 2-year-old heeler mix who weighs around 40 lbs. She is affectionate, friendly, smart, and attentive. She is already house-trained and crate-trained and knows a few commands (sit, stay, and paw). Since she is such a smart girl, we think she’d be excited to learn more! Assuna especially enjoys going on walks and is a fan of yummy treats and toys. Assuna has been around other dogs in the past, as well as cats. She would do fine in a home with children, too.
