Meet Zeus, who comes to us from the community. Zeus is a 4-year-old, 175 lb., Great Dane. He is housebroken, neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and has been microchipped. Due to his very large size, he needs to go to a home with no small children, but he absolutely adores older children, other dogs, and even cats. Zeus has zero leash training, and he will need someone strong and patient to be able to teach him how to act on one. He is a great big scaredy cat and seems to be afraid of everything right now, but we are working with him to become more acclimated and comfortable. Per the previous owners, they obtained him from someone that kept him locked in a bedroom for almost 3 years. They got him and he has done great, with the exception of their small child who was scared of him and got plowed over her a few times...which is why they had to owner surrender him to us. Zeus is currently in need of a foster home and is living in boarding. If you are interested in meeting this gentle giant, please reach out to us for either a foster or adoption application.
