My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Anchovy was abandoned outdoors and left to fend for himself for years before he was found. This boy may look salty, but he’s all sweet! He’s cool, calm, and collected, and has thoroughly embraced retirement as an indoor cat.

Anchovy is FIV+, but that hasn`t slowed down his enjoyment of his newly luxurious life! FIV is not a death sentence, as it only means a lower immune system. This cannot be transmitted to other kinds of pets or humans. FIV is only transmitted to other cats via birth from an FIV mom, or through very deep bites. Anchovy is a big guy at 17 lbs, but that`s just more to love! He is not overweight (and may actually still be slightly underweight from life outdoors) - he’s just a large boy! Anchovy hasn’t shown much of a penchant for playtime yet, but he certainly loves a good cat nap.

This handsome man is comfortable with other cats after a proper introduction. Anchovy likes the simple things in life: a cozy bed, a piece of twine, and dental kibble are his current favorites! If Anchovy sounds like a purr-fect fit for your home, please reach out to Team Cat Rescue today!
