Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet ANISE! Anise, also known as "Neesie" is doing great in her foster home. She is one of 6 black lab pups that has been in boarding for the last 7 months. Nessie is an 8 month old lab, flat coat retriever, german shepherd mix, who currently weighs about 25 lbs. She landed a foster home with other dogs, cat, and toddler. Here is what her foster has to say:
"She has adapted very well to crazy house life. She loves my 3 year old and is hot on her heels for story time at the end of the day. She gets along well with the other dogs in the house and is curious yet respectful of the cat. She enjoys that there is a "dog couch" but also will lay in her bed in the kennel if it's taken. She does fantastic making sure to potty outside. She was very hesitant about a lot of new things when she first came to us but is so much more confident than a week ago. It's great to see her blossom with each day."
Anise is house trained, kennel trained, good with dogs, cats, and kids!

We require a foster or adoption application to qualify to foster or adopt our animals. We do check your current veterinary reference and landlord approval if renting. The next step is a "meet and greet" with all family members and/or household occupants, and current pets. Upon approval, we offer a "trial adoption" period that allows adopter to make sure of a good fit for both the dog and family. Adoption is final when adoption contract (different from application) is filled out and signed, and adoption fee is paid. Our adoption fees range from $75 - $300 (puppies) currently, but are subject to revision if our veterinary costs rise.
