Meet Duna! Duna was feeling a little shy and went off to a foster home where she did great! It took a little while, but after some time and patience she became a social and playful girl, happy to be around her people friends and asking for pets. Duna needs an adopter who understands that she will need some time to get used to her new home and they may need to take things slow, but we know she'll thrive once she feels safe and loved!

If this animal is located at our Manhattan Adoption Center, head in to meet them and see if you are a match! We are a same-day adoption center, and an application does not put you on a list or hold an animal for you. If they are in Wantagh or in a foster home, please submit an online application and our team will reach out to further discuss the adoption process. Prior to adoption, all of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given their age-appropriate vaccines.

Please bring the following to your adoption appointment:

Photo ID with current address AND a copy of their utility bill with their current address.

Proof in Writing that Pets Are Welcome in the Building. This can be in the form of a lease, a letter from the landlord, or an email from the landlord.

Adopting a dog? Adopters must bring a leash, collar and harness.

Adopting a cat? Adopters must bring a sturdy, non-cardboard pet carrier. (Bedding optional but helpful)
