Snickers is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home!
Snickers is a 2-year-old Dachshund mix with a heart full of love and a preference for the simple life. This sweet boy is looking for a calm and quiet home where he can bond deeply with his special person—ideally a woman, as he thrives with a female caregiver. Snickers is good with other dogs and would enjoy the company of a canine companion, but his true happiness lies in being your devoted shadow.

He’s a sensitive soul who prefers a home without a lot of hustle and bustle or people coming and going. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key companion to share your heart and home, Snickers could be the perfect match!

Their adoption process

Submit Application

Submitting an adoption application is free and is the best way to show that you are interested in a specific pet!

Interview

An adoption coordinator will contact you by email within 48 hrs to set up an interview and go over your application

Home Check

Virtual Home Check

4.
Approve Application

Once your application is approved, you will receive a pre-approval letter which is valid for 6 months as you search for the perfect pet!

5.
Meet the Pet

We provide meet and greets for pre-approved applicants and their families.

6.
Sign Adoption Contract

Additional adoption info

An application with vet/landlord reference check and virtual home visit is required.

The adoption donation amount of $550 is fully refundable if the dog you choose is not the right fit for your family within the first seven (7) days. Every dog is fully vetted, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and microchipped with lifetime registration.
