Meet Kermit! This pup came into the shelter terribly emaciated and has wanted nothing but love and affection ever since. Kermit is a very happy pup! He loves to go on walks and explore and meet new people. Kermit is so excited to be out that he does tug on the leash, but he is working on his manners and improving every day! He enjoys treats and has been receptive to training with their use. Kermit will accept treats gently when they are offered. His first love is TENNIS BALLS! Kermit would happily spend his entire day chewing, chasing, and fetching tennis balls. He even likes to have one in his mouth during walks. Kermit has shown playful and appropriate behavior toward other dogs and is likely house-trained. There is no end of love and affection with this pup. Come in and meet him today!

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Come on in and find your new best friend! Walk through our kennels and find a pet that you're interested in.

2.

Submit Application

Proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for any other dogs/cats in your home is required prior to meeting with any of our adoptable animals

3.

Meet the Pet

You will get the chance to meet in a private visitation room. Meet & greets are required for dogs

4.

Pay Fee

$110 for dogs. $75 for cats. The second fee is waived if two cats are adopted together. Includes spay/neuter, chip, and vaccines

5.

Take the Pet Home

Your new pet can go home once they are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and have received their rabies vaccination.
