A handsome, athletic boy; easy to leash today but felt strong; a bit jumpy out of the gate but better once exercised and easy to redirect; playful in the yard and LOVES to chase after toys; knows “sit”; not mouthy; seemed very treat motivated and would try to jump for them; I held off on introducing treats until the end of our interaction because he had been looking for them ?? in my pockets when we first met; he had a very playful demeanor!

If you are looking for a new pet, Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Services shelter has a wide variety of animals to adopt; from dogs and cats, rabbits and guinea pigs, to the occasional snake and pot-bellied pigs. The shelter also has two specially designed bonding areas for people to interact and play with the animals they are considering for adoption.
