Meet Phoebe, a pint-sized powerhouse of personality! This adorable Chihuahua is the perfect blend of sweet and sassy – a tiny package overflowing with love. At a couple of years old, Phoebe still retains a wonderfully playful, puppy-like energy. She's got a zest for life that shines through in her enthusiastic playtime with toys (she absolutely loves toys!), and her happy disposition with other dogs (though she might give chase to any feline friends).
While Phoebe initially greets new people with a little bark, don't let that fool you! With a little patience and time, her initial shyness melts away, revealing the affectionate cuddle bug underneath. She's almost perfectly house-trained (the occasional accident is easily managed with regular potty breaks), and her snuggles are legendary. She'd especially love a home with another small dog to play with, keeping her tiny spirit happy and engaged.
Phoebe is a true sweetheart who thrives on companionship and would prefer a home where she won't be left alone for extended periods. She's a devoted bed-sharer and enjoys the comfort of her human's presence. Being a protective little lady (typical Chihuahua!), older children would be the best fit for this sweet girl. While she's still working on crate training, her foster family is making progress.

Their adoption process

Submit Application

Applications are not considered on a first come first serve basis but rather on the best match for the dog

Interview

We first offer a video chat interview where we can learn more about the adopter and allow them to ask questions. We also call references.

Home Check

We do the initial meet and greet at the adopters home where we also do a home check.

4.
Meet the Pet

We never leave a pet behind at an initial meet and greet, but rather discuss with our team if the right fit, then offer another meet/playdat

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

At this point we sign, pay fee, and provide all medical records

6.
Take the Pet Home

We do not host adoption events. We do bring some of our dogs to fundraisers to meet potential adopters who then must complete the full adoption process.

More about this rescue

We are a small foster based rescue who focuses on helping areas of overpopulation and dogs in desperate situations. We are run by dedicated volunteers and generally only have a handful of dogs in care at one time so we can focus on exactly what they need to feel better and find a loving home.
