My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mimosa is one of the sweetest, most affectionate, most snuggly puppies we've ever met.
She ADORES people -- she loves food, but she will actually stop eating to cuddle the person who brought her the meal! Yes, Mimosa is joyful and happy to play and explore, but the things she wants most, waaay more than any toy or treat, is a person to be near!
THE ORIGIN STORY
Mimosa, Mayflower, and Walnut -- These three 5-month-old puppies have experienced so much loss and suffering in their young lives, yet each one is so full of love, soft, snuggly affection, and joy... they're breaking our hearts and WE NEED YOUR HELP giving them the happily ever afters they all deserve.
We've introduced all three to very young children, senior citizens, and other dogs -- each puppy was as gentle and cuddly as could be. Each would make a loyal companion and a fun but never-too-rough playmate!
At just a few weeks old, Mimosa, Mayflower, Walnut, and Sweet Potato were dumped in the streets by their human, left to fend for themselves. They survived that ordeal and found their way to us through a fabulous rural rescue.
But, when they arrived at Animal Aid, we discovered they all had Parvo. Despite immediate medical intervention, Sweet Potato didn't survive.
Mimosa, Mayflower, and Walnut spent five days in the hospital and bravely fought their way back to us. Now they're healthy and so ready for the next chapter of their lives.
So, in their 5 months of life, Mimosa, Mayflower, and Walnut lost their original home, had to survive on the streets, lost their sister, Sweet Potato, and endured a horrible disease. THIS HAS TO STOP -- these three puppies need a new start! Give one a home, and he or she will fill it with love and gratitude.
All three are smart, eager to learn and please, very affectionate, playful but not rough or destructive, and good with young kids. They love playing with other dogs, but need a home with no cats.
Come visit Walnut, Mimosa, and Mayflower any day, including weekends and holidays, between 9am and noon, no appointment necessary. They're waiting for you at Animal Aid Society, 80 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, VA.
Interested? Come for a visit any day of the week - 365 days a year between 9am - 12pm. Hope to see you soon!
