Meet Giblets! Small in stature but big in personality this little ball of energy will keep you on your toes. She’s a 2 year old female unaltered Australian Cattle Dog Mix - mixed with what we don’t know - but she’s 100% cattle dog. Cattle dogs also know as red heelers or blue heelers, are considered one of the top 10 most intelligent dog breeds and Giblets is no exception. This red heeler will be the most loyal and energetic companion you have ever met. Quite frankly we don’t know why she hasn’t been snatched up by now. If you like an active ball chasing, frisbee catching partner she’s your gal. This amazing working dog is not only strong and resilient but easily trainable. ACD’s are known to excel at dock diving and agility but they do have a hard off switch to relax and be that couch potato you need, but only for a little while. She has work to do. She will protect your home and loved ones making her the perfect family pet. Every dog lover needs the experience of being “owned” by an Australian Cattle Dog. If you’re ready for an adventure and a lifetime of love, consider adopting Giblets today!

The adoption fee for this pet covers the cost of care and training which may have been for several weeks or several months depending on the health and training needs. The fee also covers all vet bills during this time to ensure his/her health is improved or maintained and provides you with assurance that this dog has been well cared for while in our possession and evaluated to meet your home's needs. Included in this fee is also life- long training support provided by PLAY! K9 Academy located in Bradenton, FL as well as Life time microchip registration. When you adopt from a local shelter, you may not receive any medical history for this dog nor will you receive any behavioral history. We hope you understand that the minimal adoption fee we are asking is to continue our mission to rescue unwanted herding and working breeds from shelters/owners and get them adopted to their forever home.
PLAY! K9 Rescue will pay for the spay/neuter of this adopted dog. The spay/neuter must be done at a clinic or veterinarian's office approved by PLAY! K9 Rescue.
