My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Haley is looking for their forever home!

WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Haley is truly a special puppy who will make the best addition to a lucky family out there! She is smart as a whip, friendly, playful and has completely won over her foster siblings (one of whom can be a difficult sell). Haley has a neurological condition called hydrocephalus, but it doesn't slow her down one bit! She is so full of life and loves to go on adventures and explore new places. Her nose is going a mile a minute on walks and she'd be great as someone's adventure buddy (anyone looking for that "go everywhere" dog??).

Haley absolutely loves her toys, every morning she digs through the toy box to see what she's in the mood for and then loves to dangle them in front of her foster siblings' faces to convince them to play with her.

As active as she can be, she is able to relax during the day while her foster mom works and will wait patiently for her foster dad to get home in the evening, at which point she just explodes with happiness. She sleeps through the night and is working hard on her housetraining. And to top it off, she is very food motivated, which is great for training!

Haley is great with her foster’s three cats and would love a home with a calm dog friend. This girl has everyone who meets her absolutely smitten and is sure to make her furever family feel the same. Could that family be yours?

MEDICAL NOTE: Haley has been diagnosed by a neurologist with hydrocephalus.

ATTRIBUTES: Haley has lived in foster with other dogs, but needs a patient dog friend!

More about this rescue

Laila's Legacy missions is to ensure every homeless dog - including those with behavioral or physical challenges - that comes through our doors has a chance at a better life while educating the public on breed bias, individualistic training, and the importance of spay-neuter to lower the impact of returned and abandoned animals in shelters.
