Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Zoey is an energetic, intelligent young female who loves fetching frisbees and tennis balls and chewing on her chew toys. She enjoys playing with other dogs and being with her people, but is not chill with cats. After getting some exercise she will lie at my feet for several hours while I work at my desk. She is crate-trained, leash-trained, and food-motivated, and is learning to calm down her excitement when she sees other dogs and people walking in the park behind our house.
Zoey was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Houston, Texas. She was picked up as a stray and her age is estimated at 2 years. She is spayed, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and weighs 41 pounds. She has mastered basic commands and would benefit from additional training and enrichment activities. Her ideal forever home would have a fenced back yard and loving pet parents who enjoy working with her, taking her for walks, and letting her hang out with them in the house.
