Rolo and his companion Millie joined us in rescue recently when their owner abandoned them. The pups are so friendly and happy with our volunteers, we're at a loss to understand who wouldn't want to keep them!

Rolo is around 2 years old, he's the perfect sized lab - not too big, and not too small! Rolo also has a terrific coat, with delightfully wavy hair along his back that is super soft. Rolo does great with other dogs, although he isn't bonded with his friend Millie, the two make a great pair if you are considering adding lots of labrador love to your home! Rolo has met cats briefly, and he was very respectful (and maybe even a little timid!). Rolo would love a family with people of any age, including children. We don't think that Rolo or Millie were ever really kept as traditional house dogs, but we think they'll be terrific at it! Each dog is eager to please and very much enjoys the company of people.

Rolo's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventatives PLUS a free basic training course at Cedar Run Company #2 in Hiawatha. Rolo is seeking a home as an indoor dog only, please submit an adoption application through our website if you are interested in him! Last Hope requires that adopters with current/former pets have a history of having kept them altered, as indoor pets and kept current on vaccines and preventatives.
