If you’re looking for furry companionship and a good laugh, senior tuxie Matilda is ready to apply and show off her big personality! Her extravagant whiskers complete the persona. 

Matilda is smart and CURIOUS about everything and everyone! She’ll spend part of the day watching cat tv and chirping at the birds outside the window. Every room she enters requires exploration. Are you doing something interesting? She’ll come close to check it out. Her curiosity also extends to strangers who get a sniff and might be allowed a few pets. 

Wand toys are a favorite of playful Matilda. She’s willing to chase a toy and jump on and off the couch in pursuit. She’ll also run laps up and down the hallway when she has the zoomies. No worries, she’ll slow down later to sleep near her person, on her person, or under the covers. When you head to the bedroom at night, she’ll jump into bed and she knows it’s time for breakfast when you get up. 

Like most cats, Matilda can be a little shy at the start and requires some patience. She’s fine once she knows she can trust you and feels safe. Matilda is independent and entertains herself, but might enjoy having someone who is home during the day.  She currently lives with Melina, but would prefer to be the only cat.
