Meet Whisper, a medium-energy, people-centric kitty with a soft spot for affection and treats! This sweet girl loves spring toys, chasing the laser pointer, and being close by. She’s the perfect “lap-adjacent” friend who will eagerly ask for pets (and be vocal about it!), though she prefers to curl up next to you rather than directly on your lap.

Whisper is a loyal companion who thrives with her humans but keeps a comfortable distance with other animals. She coexists peacefully with other cats, though she doesn’t actively seek their company. She’d be a great fit for a home with another independent cat or as the solo queen of her castle. She’s gentle, even in play, and gives only the softest love nibbles on occasion. Whisper’s thoughtful, calm personality makes her an ideal buddy for someone who works from home or simply enjoys her quiet, friendly presence.

Please note: Whisper currently lives in a foster home, and the first step in our adoption process is to complete our application.

Submit Application

Once your application is submitted, a team member will reach out w/ next steps like visiting the rescue or coordinating a visit with fosters

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

We specialize in matchmaking! Please wait for our email reply, so we can set you up with an hour-long adoption appointment at the rescue!

3.
Home Check

Once you've selected a pet(s), we'll conduct a virtual home check to cover basics and home safety.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Our tax-deductible adoption fee is due at time of signing the contract, at which point you can bring your new love home!

5.
Take the Pet Home

We will support you at every point through the process! Please continue to reach out to us post-adoption with any questions you might have.

More about this rescue

Santé D'Or Foundation was formed in 2003. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill animal rescue organization, specializing in natural healing and care.

The mission of Santé D’Or Foundation is to rescue and provide shelter and holistically-based medical care to animals, while working to secure them permanent homes. We act as an educational resource in our community through our rescue and adoption services, community outreach, and TNR efforts. Our organization is run by our Director of Animal Services and team, and staffed by volunteers.
