My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Onyx is half cocker spaniel (mom) mixed with rottweiler/German shepherd (dad) who was surrendered by his previous family at just 1 year old and came to me for fostering and will be 2 y.o. in March. Despite being neglected, he showed an incredible amount of spirit and resilience! After a full check-up with the vet, he was treated for fleas successfully, updated on his vaccines, and neutered.

Previously an outdoor-only dog, Onyx has adjusted beautifully to indoor life—he’s now fully crate trained and potty trained. This social butterfly thrives on companionship and loves seeing his friends regularly at the dog park. While he’s not much of a barker, he has a playful and lively personality and would be thrilled to have a sibling or a pet parent who can keep up with his love for playdates.

Onyx is the sweetest, smartest boy you’ll ever meet, with just a hint of mischief to keep things fun. He’s ready to find his furever family and fill their lives with joy and adventure!
