My name is Mackenzie!

Mackenzie is a sweet, gentle and loving dog. She is good with all humans and dogs. She is great on the leash and she howls with excitement when she knows a walk is coming 💗
Although we absolutely love Mackenzie and will miss her dearly, it would be best for her to be in a home without children or with an older adult who has some extra time on their hands so she gets the attention and routine she deserves.
She has some anxiety and needs routine and a mild antidepressant to help her thrive. Her anxiety manifests in hiding anywhere she can to feel safe. She prefers to be in small, secure and enclosed spaces such as a crate in a bathroom or laundry room when she gets stressed. Like most dogs, she is triggered by fireworks and any loud thunder type sounds. She is also sensitive to beeping from television shows that are censoring foul language.
For her safety, she needs a home with a secure yard or large property where she can roam free and come home after some exploring.
