Meet the Pet
Take the Pet Home
- Loves people and toys and is happy to be playing whether it's with you or just by himself; does a great vertical when he's excited!
- Knows sit and is treat-motivated, so bonding with him through training would be a lot of fun
- Can be nervous about getting into cars and does best with a harness in these situations
- Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for him (mature home recommended)
- Has gone to doggy daycare and has done very well with dogs there, but he has also been unsure about some dogs in the past; will likely do best with like-minded dogs (dog intro required)
All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
