My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later.  Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam and follow up exams.~

Health: Nadine was taking Lasix to manage fluid retention around her heart. While the underlying cause remains uncertain, she responded positively and is no longer on a daily medication regimen. She no longer has a cough.
***** No other obvious health issues found during vet exam *****

Name: Nadine

Breed: Pomeranian

Weight: Approximately 6 pounds

Coat: Tri-color parti coat – absolutely stunning!

Personality:

Nadine is an adorable but quirky little lady with a personality all her own. She’s cautious around people but doesn’t let that stop her from being curious. In fact, she’ll quietly shadow you around the house, keeping an eye on everything you do.

Special Quirks:

Catching Nadine can be an adventure! Her secret lies in pointing at her and saying, “Stop.” True to her unique style, she’ll pause, roll over on her back, and wait for you to pick her up. This belly-flop maneuver is her way of giving in gracefully.

Grooming:

Despite her shyness, Nadine is surprisingly cooperative when it comes to grooming. She allows you to brush her luxurious coat and even sits calmly through a blow-dry session.

Skills:

Nadine is a pro at using the doggie door, rain or shine! While most Poms avoid rain as if the water is made of acid, Nadine doesn’t let bad weather dampen her spirit—she’ll head outside to potty even when it’s pouring rain.

Cuddle Time:

Once you’ve earned Nadine’s trust (and caught her), she transforms into the ultimate lap dog. She’ll happily settle on your lap for hours, making her the perfect companion for a cozy day indoors. However, I have noticed that she is not that keen on some men.

Fun Fact:

Nadine’s “secret password” for belly rubs and catching her is just another layer of her delightful personality. Once you’ve cracked her code, you’ll have a loyal and loving friend for life.

Where did she come from:  Surrendered to our rescue by a Breeder.

 Adoption: ***** $700.00 ***** Weight: 6.8 lbs. Approximate DOB: 10/16/2019

Additional adoption info

Please allow up to 72 hours for a response.

Adopting one of our dogs requires that you fill out an adoption application, have your references checked, and let us visit your home.

The required minimum adoption donation is $250. That amount covers the spay/neuter, annual vaccinations, heartworm testing, and one month of heart worm preventative.

We spend about $300.00 just to treat the pommies that are heartworm positive. We have invested more than $1000.00 in several of our pommies--treating them and kenneling them. Kenneling cost $16 a day per dog. We need foster homes!
