Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Piper is a double TEN. 10 pounds and 10 years young. She loves people! She is housebroken, loves car rides, and gives kisses and hugs. By hugs we mean she throws her head onto your chest or neck. She has an amazing personality and is a very loving dog. Piper also loves walks on quiet streets, but is open to working on her leash manners on streets with many distractions.
Piper would prefer to be an only dog, but if you are an experienced dog owner who is willing to put in the work to integrate her into a house with another dog, we could discuss. She is in a foster home with other dogs and her foster mom is the boss, not allowing any one dog to think they are the boss. Otherwise, she's pretty sure Piper would run the house. Piper has not been kid or cat tested. We have not DNA tested Piper, our best guess is maybe a Jack Russell Chi mix.
Piper is the welcoming committee and isn't afraid to try out a new lap that comes over to visit. Piper is easily corrected if she barks, and is comfortable in a crate. Also on Piper's dream home list is that she would love to have a yard to do her "sunning". We can all dream, right?
Piper is spayed, has all of her shots, is microchipped and has gotten the vet's approval and she is ready to find her own family! Piper is currently fostered in Anaheim, California.
Please contact stacy@k9spirit.org if you are interested in Piper. Tell us about yourself... Piper is ALL EARS.
