Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Joey is a 7.5 year old Jack Russel mix who is needing to be rehomed due to issues with their newborn baby. He gets along great with all dogs and has been going to The Collar Club for boarding and daycare since he was a puppy. He is fully crate and potty trained, knows basic commands, and is generally pretty easy going at home. He can take a little time to warm up to new people but once he does, he is sweet as can be! He loves everyone at the Collar Club and has warmed up to strangers at his foster home after being around them for a short period of time. Joey does currently take daily anxiety and allergy medications. His adoption fee is $250. If you are interested, please fill out the application on our website. www.foreverhomedogs.orgAll adoptions are $300 per dog for puppies under 1 year, $250 for adults 1 - 9 years old and $150 for senior dogs which include spay/neuter, micro-chipped and up-to-date on required shots.
Senior dogs, at our discretion, are adopted out at $150 per dog because we know they will have less time with your family and may eventually have more needs as they get older. But we feel these dogs deserve to live out the rest of their lives as part of a loving family.

More about this rescue
Forever Home Dog Rescue is dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals primarily from high-kill shelters.
In working with committed volunteers, temporary care homes and local veterinarians, we are able to rescue dogs, provide them with loving temporary care, and find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes. All our rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and have all necessary veterinary care.
We were formed in January 2014 and are a non-profit organization in central Iowa. We are pending our official 501c3 status. We receive no government funding and rely completely on donations.
