Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Virginia! This girl is eager to learn and even quicker to steal your heart! She’s mastered basic commands like “sit,” “touch,” and “down,” and she quickly became consistent with outside potty breaks on a routine.
This playful girl has a blast chasing tennis balls and tossing around toys. She loves spending time outside exploring the backyard or going on walks, but playdates with other pups, big and small, might just be her favorite. Virginia would absolutely love a doggy sibling to burn off her puppy energy, but she’d do just as well as the only dog in a home.
Virginia is a very confident puppy who doesn’t lack in spirit or charm. Whether she’s exploring her surroundings, greeting new people, or showing off her playful side, she does it all with a self-assured, happy-go-lucky attitude.
When meeting new people, Virginia is all wags and excitement. She loves seeing new faces, including kids, and greets everyone with her big puppy enthusiasm.
At home, Virginia has been sleeping in her crate like a champ, she may whine for a short period but quickly settles down and relaxes.
Sometimes, when foster mom is busy cooking, Virginia will lay down nearby and quietly observe, showing her calm and patient side.
Virginia is a big fan of belly rubs and isn’t shy about letting you know she’s ready for some fun with her cute, excited yips. She lights up whenever she sees her humans.
If you’re looking for a confident, and goofy companion, Virginia just might be your perfect match!
Virginia is estimated to be 6 months old and 28 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. If you are interested in meeting this dog please complete the adoption application on our website at https://safehandsrescue.org/adoption-process/ and then we can contact you about setting up a meeting.
