My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lays is one happy potato! He always greets us with a big smile and isn't shy about getting up close for a personal hello. Lays is in really good shape physically. We highly doubt he was alone for long (or anytime at all) with how wonderfully plump his body is. Lays knows some commands and loves treats. He comes when he is called and snuggles at will. He is a really fun nice boy.

*Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL

*The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.

*All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs.

*Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
