My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Arely is a real treat to pet. Her fur is as soft as it is pretty. She is more than just her excellent appearance. Arely has great energy too. She knows some commands, takes treats perfectly, and has little bursts of playfulness in just the right amount. Arely isn't needy either. She explores and absorbs her surroundings. She is wonderful to spend time with.

Arrived at shelter 11/20/24.

*Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL

*The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.

*All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs.

*Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
