Sparky is the epitome of his namesake. This lively puppy is energetic, smart, and ready to learn anything you want to teach him! Our little Sparky was brought to another shelter in the city by the East St. Louis fire department after finding him very skinny and very afraid. The city shelter got him healthy and we stepped in to hopefully find Sparky his future forever home.

Sparky has done really well in the playgroups we have given him here at Five Acres, but is still a happy and excitable puppy so structure will be important for him when meeting future dog friends. While we cannot cat test here at the shelter, we can offer guidance on a slow, managed introduction.
