Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
A lively four-and-a-half-year-old German Shepherd from Peoria, AZ, who is equal parts charm and energy wrapped in a striking black-and-tan coat. With her impressive 70-pound frame and soulful eyes, Danny is the quintessential loyal companion, ready to fill her new family’s life with laughter, play, and love!
Danny is a true athlete at heart—fetch is her ultimate joy, and she’ll play tirelessly until your arm needs a break. Her Bark Box toys are her prized treasures, and after a busy day of play, she’s happiest curling up at your feet, her loyal presence warming your heart. While she hasn’t had formal training, she’s already a pro at commands like “sit,” “outside,” and “mimi’s” (her cue for kennel time). She’s a quick learner and thrives with positive reinforcement, so a little time invested in training will go a long way.
This playful girl is friendly with strangers and adores young children, making her a wonderful addition to an active family. She’s selective about her canine companions, so a home without large dogs (or with a well-matched smaller dog) would suit her best. While she hasn’t had much interaction with cats, her adaptable nature leaves the door open for careful introductions.
Danny’s routine is straightforward: she eats once a day, enjoys regular exercise, and rests comfortably in her crate when left alone. A home with a fenced yard is essential for her to safely channel her high energy, and a pet parent who enjoys runs or long walks will find a perfect partner in Danny.
Though her stomach is a bit sensitive, her current diet keeps her happy and healthy. Vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and house-trained, Danny is ready to transition seamlessly into a new loving home. She needs a family willing to embrace her zest for life and keep her active and engaged.
Are you ready to make Danny part of your family and embark on endless games of fetch and heartwarming companionship? Contact adopt@joyfulpets.com to meet this remarkable girl who’s waiting to be your next best friend!
