**Meet Rosita – Your Future Queen Bee!**
Rosita is still waiting for her forever home, and we just can't believe this sweet girl has been with us for almost a whole year! She’s a true gem—gorgeous, loving, and a little bit of a diva. (Okay a lot of a diva) Rosita loves exploring her space, especially if there’s a cat tree or scratching post involved. She’s the kind of cat who loves to be close to you, happily perching on your lap or snuggling up for some gentle pets.
One of Rosita's greatest joys in life? FOOD! From kibble to French fries to green beans—she’s not picky and will gladly share her love for snacks. Her ideal date would be a large dinner at Olive Garden and then a movie night with all the snacks, popcorn toppings and candies you can think of. And at the end of the night she would love to lay next to you on the couch belly up and zonk it out.
We’ve recently learned that Rosita can live harmoniously with other pets, as long as they respect her space. She thrives best when her fellow furry family members are calm and submissive, allowing her to feel safe and comfortable. She’s a queen who likes to call the shots.
Rosita is great with kids and would be a perfect addition to a family who loves a chill yet playful companion. Her stunning emerald eyes will steal your heart, and she’s often found napping in her favorite spots—either in the laundry room or on your pillow, right by your side.
This sweet girl just wants a home where she can truly relax, enjoy her treats, and be her fabulous self forever. Could it be with you?
Adopt Rosita today and make her your queen!

We will discuss the application answers and have a good conversation. If I feel this would be a good home we will go forward with a meeting.
3.
Meet the Pet
This is a meet and greet and most of the time a home check.
4.
Sign Adoption Contract
At the meet and greet if all goes well; we sign the contract, pay the adoption fee and the pet stays.
Additional adoption info
We like to involve the foster of the cat/kitten in the adoption process. They know the animal the best so they know what joke would be best. If anyone is uncomfortable with leaving the animal there we do not go through with the adoption.
First is an application, then meet and greet, let them think about it or if all goes well and they want to proceed that day we have them sign the contract, hand over the cats vetting paperwork and take the adoption fee. We leave all of our contact information with the adopter and say our goodbyes to the lovely who found their home!

More about this rescue
Our mission as a rescue is to not only help as many cats as possible but to give them the best quality of life as well. We want to vet, fix, vaccinate and love as many cats and kittens as we can.
We want to fight the cat overpopulation that is currently harming so many lives.
We help the community fix their cats as much as we can. We educate the community and hand out low cost soay and neuter options at all our events as well as education sheets such as on declawing. We are very against declawing in the rescue. It is the main red or green flag on an application. We view those answers thoroughly.
We opened in September 2023 with a single bottle kitten and how have 60+ cats and kittens in rescue at this time.
