From the moment she hopped into the car, her zest for life was obvious—she couldn’t wait to stick her head out the window and take in the world around her. She’s a playful spirit who loves to roughhouse, hop around, and make friends with every dog she meets.

Maxie also has a big interest in water and would likely thrive on lake or river adventures with her future family. As the day goes on, her playful side softens into a cuddly companion who’s ready to snuggle with her forever person. Though she’s still learning commands, Maxie is incredibly smart and eager to please, mastering `sit,` `lay down,` and `paw` in no time. Her focus and engagement are impressive, even with distractions nearby.

We have many wonderful pets waiting to be adopted! Adoption fees are $85 for dogs and $65 for cats (Dogs over 5 years old, $40). The adoption fee to persons over 55 years old is $40. Adoptions includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, heartworm test, fecal test, and Feline Leukemia/FIV test for cats.

Our shelter is open 7 days a week! Our hours are:
Monday, Wednesday - Friday: 11am - 7pm
Tuesday: 11am - 8pm
