My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Harmony, our sweet senior girl, came to us from the Ulster County SPCA, and we’re already tuning into her wonderful vibe.

Getting to know Harmony is like hitting the perfect note—she's sweet, spunky, and full of personality. With her charming hooked tail, she’s definitely the “hook” that keeps us all smiling.

Harmony loves to know what you're up to, but don’t worry—she’s not trying to “strike a chord” with you in an overly clingy way. She enjoys keeping her distance while still being a part of the action.

She’s been a hit with the dogs she’s met and has given a warm welcome to the cats, too. Harmony has also loved every human she’s met along her journey.

If you're ready for a “harmonious” addition to your family, come meet Harmony. She’s ready to “compose” a lasting bond with you!

More about this rescue

Animal Farm Foundation gets to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

Located in Dutchess County NY, AFF has been working nationally to secure equal treatment and opportunity for “pit bull” dogs since 1985.

OUR ORGANIZATION
Animal Farm Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation, has been rescuing and re-homing animals, as well as making grants to other humane organizations, since the mid-1980's.

We currently dedicate our resources to securing equal treatment and opportunity for "pit bull" dogs. Whether the dog is called a "pit bull" because of a documented pedigree, or merely on the basis of physical appearance, recognizing that these dogs are individuals for whom we are responsible is an integral step toward a compassionate future for all dogs.
