My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meow there! My name is Rascal and I`m a shy but oh so sweet kitty. I may be a little nervous at first, but once you give me some time and cuddles, you`ll see that I`m just a big ol` softy. The shelter staff said I used to live with a lot of other cats, which is why I can be a little shy around new people, but I would really love a home with another confident cat who can help show me that people are great! I`m a BIG fan on temptations, so bring me some of those and I bet we`ll be best buds in no time!
How did I get here? Transferred from Iredell County Animal Shelter where I was an owner surrender.
Something else? I`m just getting to know my roommate, Velocity, but I love other cats and I think I might like to go home with her if you don`t have a buddy for me already waiting!

**I have tested positive for FeLV (feline leukemia) - please speak with an adoption specialist for more information.**
