Meet Clarice

Clarice is a special case who recently came into our care. At just 6 years old, she’s battling severe malnutrition and anemia. When she arrived, her tiny body was covered in matted fur, ticks, fleas, and lice. She had to be shaved to make her more comfortable.

Her red blood cell count is dangerously low, and her white blood cell count is elevated, but thanks to Dr. Meckley’s swift care, she’s now on several medications and beginning her journey to recovery.

We’re already seeing small improvements, but Clarice still has a long road ahead. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she continues to fight. We are committed to giving her the best possible care and will keep you updated on her progress.

Additional adoption info

Call 740-934-2693 to make an appointment to visit pets at our shelter! All pets are spayed or neutered and up to date on all shots before leaving our facility. You must fill out an adoption form and be approved. We will need to see a driver license or valid id card with your address.

$150.00 adoption fee for dogs/puppies. All dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on shots and rabies shots, wormed, heartworm and lyme disease tested.

$50.00 adoption fee for cats. All cats are up to date on shots, have been spayed and neutered, and feline leukemia tested.
