My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Drogo, a timid yet incredibly sweet chihuahua who’s on a journey of healing and trust. After a tough start in life marked by neglect, Drogo is learning that people can be kind and gentle. Despite his fears, his heart is full of love, and he’s surprisingly friendly once he feels safe. With patience and encouragement, Drogo is discovering the joys of cuddles, warm beds, and wagging tails. Every small step he takes toward confidence is a victory, and his resilience inspires everyone lucky enough to know him.

More about this rescue

Chihuahuas are a very unique breed. They are funny, loving, and incredibly affectionate. We believe that every chihuahua deserves a warm lap, cuddles, and love and it is our goal in finding families for each and every dog that comes into our rescue. It is also our goal to provide education to others on the breed, as chihuahuas often get stereotyped as yappy and aggressive. We hope to show our local communities that, with proper training, chihuahuas can be calm and well-behaved pets, suitable for any home.
