Elias may be a little shy at first, but once he feels comfortable, he’ll open up and show you just how affectionate and loving he can be.

Elias loves to play and has plenty of energy to keep up with an active lifestyle, but he also knows how to relax and snuggle up for a cozy cuddle session. He’s great with other dogs and would be a wonderful companion for a multi-pet household or for someone who enjoys outdoor adventures and playtime.

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
