Meet Muzzy (aka Muzz the Fuzz, aka The Fuzz Ball)

This sweet, fluffy boy has overcome incredible challenges to become the loving companion he is today. Muzzy spent much of his life struggling to survive outside, facing frequent attacks from predators. With his gentle, sweet nature, he simply wasn’t equipped for that harsh life. Thankfully, Muzzy has been rehabbed back to full health, and he is ready to leave the street life behind forever. He needs a safe, indoor home where he can finally relax and be loved without fear.

Muzzy’s heart is as soft as his plush coat, but he’ll need a little time to feel completely safe in his new surroundings. With patience, understanding, and plenty of love, Muzzy will show you just how special he is. Once he’s comfortable, he’ll melt into your heart- literally throwing his fuzzy little body at your feet the moment you walk through the door to ask for attention.

When he’s not soaking up love, Muzzy enjoys playful moments with his toys, showing off his fun and goofy side. He’s the perfect mix of affectionate and entertaining, and he’s ready to form a deep bond with a family who promises to keep him safe.

If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a resilient, sweet, and playful companion, Muzzy is the guy you. All he asks is for patience as he adjusts and the promise of love and safety forever.

More about this rescue

Mission Statement
Fat Kitty City Humane Society is a non-profit 501(c)3 Corporation, dedicated to ending needless animal suffering, through spaying, neutering, socializing, adopting and other aggressive approaches.

Our objectives are:
Provide a "no-kill" sanctuary for unwanted, Feline AIDS positive or negative, abused, neglected, feral, tame, stray or lost pets.

When possible, each pet will be rehabilitated, socialized and adopted (with a microchip) to a good family.

Those pets that cannot be rehabilitated, will live out their lives in our sanctuary, in dignity. They will receive love, housing, food and veterinary care.

To spay or neuter every pet we receive, to reduce unnecessary suffering.

Provide reasonable space for each pet to live out a high quality of life (not to live out their lives in small cages with barely enough room to move around).

Provide relief from the weather by providing a heated shelter during cold weather, etc.

Provide stimulation. A yard with trees to climb, lawn and dirt to play in and toys to enjoy.
