This adorable little squishmallow has been thriving in foster care for the past several weeks, recovering from severe neglect. With plenty of love and care, he’s gained weight, regained his confidence, and is now ready to find his forever home!
Capone is a social butterfly who gets along well with people and dogs of all sizes. He’s a spirited player, so a canine companion with a similar energy level would be a great match for him.
He’s house-trained, doing wonderfully in his crate at night and when left alone, and walks nicely on a leash. While Capone still has a few pounds to gain, he’s eating well and steadily putting on weight. Currently around 40 pounds, he’s expected to reach 45–50 pounds in the coming months.
Capone will need monthly bloodwork at your veterinarian for the next 3–6 months to monitor his progress, but his cheerful demeanor and hearty appetite suggest he’s on the right track.
If you’re ready to meet this lovable pup and give him the life he deserves, fill out an application today!
Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information.
** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. We appreciate your understanding and patience. **
