My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Elphaba, a magical gal who was whisked away from home after her owner could no longer care for her. Elphaba also had three little monkeys to raise, too: Fiyero, Nessarose, and Oz! Now, after settling into a foster home, Elphaba's babies have left the nest, and she is ready to follow the yellow brick road onto a forever family. This Chihuahua's personality is tiny but mighty: She can give you the biggest snuggles, the longest walks, and the fastest tail wags! She loves to run around with her foster siblings and bathe in the winter sunshine. Her small size and spirited attitude would make her a fun companion for a lucky family. Help grant Elphaba's wish to be loved forever - Apply to meet her today!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
