My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Wally!!
Well, they named me Wally, but honestly I think 'Smiles' fits me better because
I've got a smile that just won't quit! I've just recently arrived at the Ark,
but I've made friends fast because I'm very friendly and I even seem to like
cats. I'm a tall boy, and about 10 months old so I'm about as big as I'm going
to get. I love to go for walks and I've got that 'big dog' gentle playfulness
so I do love toys too!

When I arrived at the Ark, we played the 'guess what breed I am' game, and the
most guesses were that I'm a Labrador Retriever/ Great Pyrenees mix but I know
that's just a guess - I know what I am, I'm a Purebred Mix-Breed!!

**Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and
Tennessee Valley area only. We do require a secure fenced-in yard to adopt
our larger dogs.
