Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Little Noodle was found on someone's porch. She was very fearful of people. She was very thin an tattered coat. She also had a wound on her face above the right eye. Her owner never reclaimed her at the shelter and because of her fearfulness, she came to our rescue.
Noodle exhibits signs of abuse and will cower sometimes when approached. She will yelp if she is scared when touched, especially at the beginning when arriving in a new home and not familiar with new people and routine. So her new owners will have to allow her time and patience in order for her to come around and feel comfortable. But once she does, she is the biggest little love bug and will follow you everywhere.
She since then has become more trusting as long as you take it slow.
Noodle is a 4-year old Cairn Terrier and Chihuahua mix who weighs 8 lbs.
She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and is micro-chipped.
She is crate-trained and house-trained.
Noodle loves going for walkies, car rides, and snuggling up next to you on the couch. She enjoys being cuddled underneath the blanket while you watch TV or work on your iPad.
Noodle gets along with other dogs as long as they are respectful. She and our little Pomeranian Missy are BFFs and play and snuggle together all the time.
She also enjoys playing with her stuffies. She will fetch them for you when you toss them for her.
Noodle is a really good watch-dog. She will alert you when there is someone near the house or hears something unfamiliar.
Because of her fearfulness she would do best in a home that is more quiet and not too much commotion going on. A home without young kids would be ideal for Noodle.
